We were visiting from out of town and went here after looking up bbq places on google. I am so glad we went! Husband had the ribs and baked beans and Mac and cheese. The ribs were fall of the bone tender. He left nothing! I had the smoked full wings and potato salad and green beans. I loved the flavor of the wings and they also were falling of the bone! And the sides were homemade and great tasting. Sweet tea and banana pudding were great also. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. If you are in the area definitely give this place a try!
If we're ever back in this area, we already said we'd come back! My husband got the catfish special and I got a small pork sandwich plate with potato salad and Mac n' cheese. It was all delicious, and we ate every bite! Prices were great, service was great! Definitely worth a stop ☺️
So after eating here, just looking at all the rave reviews, I thought it was going to be better. It really didn't have a flavor. When I pulled up, nobody was queuing, so I was kind of concerned with that. Service was good. The meat just tasted like it was reheated. Nothing to write home about. But the sides were really good, and the chili on the hot dog had a lot of flavor. But the chicken wings tasted bland. Pork steak tasted bland. Pulled pork, bland. So, yeah. Not too happy about that.
